New FrontlineSMS server set up in Phnom Penh - Soft launch till end of Sep

Greetings, Happy to share a good news from Phnom Penh, Cambodia! Now I manage to setup a new FrontlneSMS server here in Phnom Penh Capital. Today. And we also managed to have remote acess worked 100% fine, so Rob from OZ can have access to the server and build up on the database. We are planning to have it go ONLINE next month. Using FrontlineSMS to monitor service delivery

my area of interest in using the mobile phone technology is monitoring HIV/AIDS service delivery in communities. currently we use frontlinesms to track availability of resources aimed at combating the effects and impact of HIV/AIDS in the rural areas. SMS are sent weekly by different coordinators to community health workers to check if certain resources are needed (example: condoms, home based care materials)

Frontline using Smart (Buddy and Bro Dongle)

I'm currently on the testing phase. I intend to use Flsms in sending updates on feed, hog and broiler price to farmers in Calabarzon who are members of our Coop. I tried using a borrowed Sony Ericsson which worked but I have to return it. I tried Flsms with my phones (Nokia 3120 Classic + bluetooth and Motorola W156 + wire) but these were not detected.
