Running frontlinesms without phone/modem

Hi,
I'm just starting out with FrontlineSMS. I was wondering if FrontlineSMS provides a way to integrate to some outside SMS gateway so I can run FrontlineSMS without connecting the server to phone or Modem. For ex., if I host it on Amazon EC3 and have some third party commercial provider to act as a gateway to send and receive sms messages. If so, how do I do that? Where can I find the third-party provider for this kind of integration?

Hi Vivek

Check the "Help" files - FrontlineSMS supports two aggregators at the moment (Clickatell for just sending and IntelliSMS for sending and receiving). Details are in the "Settings" section.

Thanks Ken. Just tried IntelliSMS - works great, though little expensive to send sms via those services.

Did you manage to receive form data that way? What about triggering actions via keywords received through IntelliSMS?

haven't tried that, though form didn't work as the receiver phone requires form client installed.
