So I'm thrilled to be a part of this community and super thrilled as to the many ways this software can potentially help me communicate with and encourage the young and dedicated volunteers that work with my organization.
I've been successful in importing contacts I think (It said that it didn't work, but then when I went to my contacts they were all there????)
But I don't seem to have a connection and the connection section under "Help" is dead when I try to click on it or open it in a new tab????
Any ideas my beauties?
Let me add more. I am and will primarily be using an internet connection directly through my lap top and not a mobile phone.
Further more, when I go to add a new connection I am afraid I am not tech savvy enough to even know where to begin with "Name", "Port", "Baud Rate" and so on ...
The settings you mention (Port, Baud Rate, etc) are specific to modem and mobile phone connections. FrontlineSMS will attempt to automatically set these up for you if you have a connected modem. From your second post, it sounds like you intend to use one of the internet aggregators; if this is the case, you need to sign up to them on their websites (links provided above), then provide your credentials in the FrontlineSMS connection wizard.
