Hi Tom, Basically I am looking at a pilot project to link organic farmers with customers, cut out the middle man, give consumers cheaper options in these hard times. I am currently putting together a proposal for a small grant. Hence the need to test the technology and mention that it works. The document is almost finished.

i have a sony ericsson gsm modem which is not on your list but I note that sont ericsson phones or so I am assuming it should work.

It sounds like you are looking at a very worthwhile pilot program.

Did you find the links to the getting started documents helpful? What happens when you try the Sony Ericsson modem with FrontlineSMS? Can you both send and receive to the modem? If you have access to Huawei modems, many users have good success with those devices.
