FrontlineSMS let users send, receive and manage SMS over a mobile network.

Do have examples of Frontline SMS Radio in african francophone countries ?

I would like to write an article about frontline SMS radio in, focusing francophones countries (otherwise lusophone countries if not possible in french).

Is frontline SMS radio used in francophone Africa (Senegal, Mali, Guinea Bissau, Tchad, Niger, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Cameroun, etc ?

Who can speaks about and can explain (in french) how it works and how radios use it ?

It seems Frontline SMS is quite developed in the anglophone area, why not in other areas ?
Thank you

Hi Alain,

Great to see you on the forum, I'm hoping some of the community can help you out! In the meantime check out RONGEAD in Cote d'Ivoire and Equal Access's work with radio in Niger. You can also check out Africa's Voices on Facebook where there are some posts from French speaking radio stations. Outside the radio context, Plan used FrontlineSMS in Benin

Perhaps you could post your message in French too?

All the best,

No french speakers ?
