Hi again all,
It's been a while since I've written in here! I'm posting on behalf of my colleagues in Bangladesh, where we are working on an antenatal care appointment reminder and data collection system with PatientView (meaning we are using the old version of FLSMS). We are using Forms to send information to and from PV, and it was working up until about yesterday, when we started to get some bizarre errors from the phone when we tried to send some updated version of our patient registration forms to the phones. It simply stopped working - forms can no longer be sent to the phones from the server or received by the phones. The only thing that has changed since we last had the phones working was the form itself - we created a new form with some updated fields.
Quick stats:
-Running FLSMS 1.7.00 with PV on a Lenovo machine running XP
-Working with Forms on Nokia C1-01s (tested many times in the past few months, they are compatible with Forms)
-Using a GrameenPhone GSM Huawei E series modem that has also been tested repeatedly
We'd previously scoured the forums and corrected anything we thought might be at fault - phone number format, storing as a contact, working around the GrameenPhone app on the computer, etc - but to no avail. I've attached an image of the unfamiliar error we are getting, and I will post the log file whenever I receive it from my coworkers.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas as to what this may be, we'd really appreciate it! Unfortunately, this is occurring the day before our village health worker training is scheduled to happen, so time is of essence now...Murphy's Law, of course!
Thanks,
Priyanka

The error code the phone is reporting is due to a permissions issue - the phone is not allowing the FrontlineForms app to access the network. On some phone models, there is no workaround for this, and the FrontlineForms app will not work. Depending on the phone model though, there may be steps available that let you enable the permissions for the application.
Please have a look at the response from Alex in the following support thread for steps on how to change permissions:

Thanks,
Sitati
