Hi Guys,
I am a newbie to fronlinesms and java.
I have downloaded the source code of frontlinesms super project from this site https://github.com/frontlinesms/frontlinesms-super-project and run it using this command mvn exec:java. One thing I noticed is that the HTTP Trigger Tab and the option to enable it in the View Drop down menu is not there, but I see a plugin-httptrigger folder.
My Question are:
1. how can I activate the Http Trigger Tab by editing the source code.
2. how can I let the http trigger to listen to the port I define and automatically start it by default.
I am developing a project for a crime watch this coming 2013 elections, since we are hoping for a peaceful election.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best Regards

First of all, ensure that all the source code for all the sub projects including plugin-httptrigger is up to date. The automatic starting of Http Triggers is supported out of the box.
If you have more questions concerning customizing the platform, please post them on the FrontlineSMS Developers Google group

What do you mean exactly about out of the box.
I was able to figure out on how to include the http trigger plugin in the source it runs smoothly, I just don't know if I make it right and put it in the right place. The only problem I have is how can I make it start by default and listen to a specific port by default.
Thank you guys for the reply I appreciate it very much.

If you want the http trigger to start by default and listen to a specific port, you can enable this in the Http Trigger view

I get that in the HTTP Trigger View, but what I am trying to accomplish is by doing it in the source code so that no body can touch even if I will disable the panel though in the background it is enabled, this is for security reasons I should say. Is there a way that I can do that. Can you help me with this?
Thanks a lot,
Genesis

I was able to solve the problem regarding the plugin-trigger and the autostart by editing the code. Thank God for the wisdom.
Thank You Sila and Geoffrey
