FrontlineSMS allows you to text message with large groups of people anywhere there is a mobile signal.

I cannot send forms to mobile phones when I change the database settings to MySQL

Hey!

I have changed the database settings to MySQL details on frontlineSMS; but I cannot send forms to my mobile phone. The message for sending the new forms remains pending and never gets to the mobile phone.

Meanwhile, on the SQLlite mode, fronlineSMS send forms to my mobile phone and i receive the forms.

Can anyone help with this?

Thank you.

Hi Morgan

thx for quick answer likes always :D

i used lampp for conection database with frontlinesms, so i read u post and i erase lampp and make a clean install of apache2 and mysql without lampp, in both cases i made the clean database and use the same ports and name, this case

server.name : localhost
server.port : 3306
database.name : frontlinesms
username: root
pass: xxxx
i turn on frontline and the datbase structure look fine (i attach a picture for more reference), i make a simple form, and try to send to frontlinesms client, the problem is when the client make the request for the form and the server recive the request, the sms with form never go out just standby.

So i send u the new logs that i made this morning, thx for help .

Hi Lester,

is the SMS prepared, and not sent (i.e. still in the outbox) or not prepared at all?
If you can't see any message triggered at the reception of the FrontlineForms request, then you might want to check the contact number is saved in the international format.

Any luck?

Best,
Morgan
Hi Morgan, FrontlineSMS received the request from client but it does not send the sms with the form to the client (the message is not in the outbox), the contac to send the form has international nomenclature like 0050588424858. If i do not change the database to mysql and keep the normal configuration the form is send to the client.

I hope that you can give and advice to fix this problem soon, thanks.
Hi Lester,

try formating the contact number this way: +50588.....
I'm guessing no message is sent back because the contact is not recognised. Can you tell me if this fixes your issue?

Morgan
Hi Morgan,

Have a nice day :D
