FrontlineSMS allows you to text message with large groups of people anywhere there is a mobile signal.
Hi there,
I am seriously concerned about the new versions of FrontlineSMS (v2).
With the 1.6 version it was possible to connect FLSMS to a mysql database - and use this inside a PHP driven website.
So far I haven't seen this feature in the new version.
Am I missing something?
The database which is used now would be an H2 database - at least that's what I've read somewhere. Is there a way to connect (and manipulate) this database with PHP.
Help on this highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Wiebe

Thanks for answering.
A good API would be a good thing, of course.
I don't think however this will solve my problems completely.
I will have to continue to use the 1.6 version. I hope I will stay out of problems as long as I am able to find devices supported by this version.
It would be a good thing if you would consider to continue support (driver updates... etc) the 1.6 version as an (sms) engine that could be integrated into advanced web applications.
Cheers,
Wiebe
