FrontlineSMS allows you to text message with large groups of people anywhere there is a mobile signal.
hello all,
i'm running version 1.6.16.3 as i havn't had a chance to download, install and play about with 2.0.3 yet sorry.
i just wondered if there is a quick way to send a message to numerous contacts in either version of Frontline? can i copy and paste some numbers from an e-mail say? to add each number as an individual contact could be very time consuming.
many thanks,
Mark

Unfortunately there is no way to send a message to multiple numbers who are not yet saved as contacts. To save a contact quickly, all you need is their name and their number.
A shortcut to adding multiple contacts at the same time is to import them as a csv file.
In version 2, you can easily send messages to contacts without first saving them as contacts.

Geoffrey

What are the column names of the csv file you are trying to import. Kindly attach a sample file containing a snippet of the contacts you are trying to import.

Geoffrey

From the csv, the column names FrontlineSMS expects have not been defined. The fields need to have the following column titles:
Name, Mobile Number, E-mail Address, Notes
Kindly reformat your csv file and retry it

Geoffrey
