As promised here's the result of my message sending speed test.
PC setup - MacBookPro Intel-based, 2.66 Ghz core2-duo CPU, 4GB RAM
SMS Device - Huawei E1552 USB
Provider - Globe Telecommunications, Philippines
Sending 120 messages
FLSMS breaks them down to bulks of 10, log snippets below:
1 - 10 -- [15/04/11 01:34:36] - Send messages took [122137]
11 - 20 -- [15/04/11 01:37:04] - Send messages took [122193]
21 - 30 -- [15/04/11 01:39:33] - Send messages took [122600]
31 - 40 -- [15/04/11 01:42:01] - Send messages took [122132]
41 - 50 -- [15/04/11 01:44:15] - Send messages took [122141]
51 - 60 -- [15/04/11 01:46:33] - Send messages took [127171]
61 - 70 -- [15/04/11 01:48:57] - Send messages took [122132]
71 - 80 -- [15/04/11 01:51:25] - Send messages took [122135]
81 - 90 -- [15/04/11 01:53:53] - Send messages took [122110]
91 - 100 -- [15/04/11 01:56:21] - Send messages took [122118]
101 - 110 -- [15/04/11 01:58:49] - Send messages took [122155]
111 - 120 -- [15/04/11 02:01:18] - Send messages took [122128]
As can be deduced above, FLSMS reports each bulk-of-10 messages are sent on average of 2 minutes or 5 per minute. However, the time gap reports slightly higher than that. Add it with the GUI refresh time delay (I did visual only observation before), hence, my original assumption of slower message sending for FLSMS compared to the dashboard (other) program in my previous post. Slightly higher than 2-3 messages per minute though but not ~8 as you mentioned.
Cheers!
