The FrontlineSMS community is important to us because it’s YOU who create and implement the projects that have the greatest social impact around the world. We’re always looking at ways to get to know you better and see how you use FrontlineSMS in action, so we have been collecting some of the amazing images here [insert link] on our new Flickr site [http://www.flickr.com/photos/frontlinesms].

 

We would now like to ask you - our vibrant, dynamic FrontlineSMS community - to send us more of your photos, so we can share them with the wider community.

 

Photos we are looking for include:

• Any photos which show someone in front of a computer or laptop, preferably with FrontlineSMS visible on-screen and the phone or modem connected
• People reading and sending text messages
• Group training sessions based on using FrontlineSMS
• A demonstration of the context in which FrontlineSMS is used, for example photos of use of FrontlineSMS at a community radio station, or at a healthcare clinic or in a classroom
• Individuals or groups of people raising their arms in the air, doing the FrontlineSMS logo \o/
• Any photo that actually shows FrontlineSMS in the shot is a real bonus!

 

Please email any photos you have along with caption and credit information to [e-mail] and we will add them to our Flickr account. Please note: wherever possible, please send high-resolution images - the uncompressed camera original files.

 

While on the topic of photos, we wanted to tell you about a photo competition from Development Gateway. You can win $500 by submitting images of empowerment and people finding solutions.
