FrontlineSMS

FrontlineSMS allows you to text message with large groups of people anywhere there is a mobile signal.

Hello I need help with my FrontlineSMS install.

I am working on a SMS project in a Local radio station in Côte d'ivoire.

I am currently engaged in designing an application that could help the listeners to know the time schedule . I have set up a database (Mysql with PHP Myadmin) containing the time and the daily programs.

Now,  I want to know how to use the command line feature to query the database through a keyword i.e.  a listener sends an SMS say, 07H 12,then he/she gets a program response from the database.

Can you share with me the right script to send a query and then the result will be sent via sms to the person who asked for it.

I kindly request for your support in helping our listeners.

Best Regards, Manassé DEHE !

Hello Manasse,

It is possible to do so but you need to write a script that will query the database and return a formatted message with the response that you want to send out. This script can then be triggered through the external commands.

Regards,

Geoffrey

Can somebody share with me the right script (PHP) to send a query and then the result will be sent via sms to the person who asked for it.
Best Regards
