it requires me to move these two files somewhere in my java folder... but the problem is.. i dont know where to locate  these files.. i browse the installer folders but i see nothing...

and when i try also to install FrontlineSMS.sh it will give an error..

Hello Joey,

please don't open several discussions for the same issue...
Regarding the SQLite library, you can find it here, but this won't resolve your shell issue...

Morgan
Sorry guys - the Linux instructions on http://www.frontlinesms.com/download/configuration.php are not up-to-date. I will try and get these updated ASAP.

Joey, I don't think there should be any configuration required to get FrontlineSMS working from the commandline - you should just browse to the correct directory and run ./FrontlineSMS.sh.
tnx for replying alex... :)

with regards to the right directory... i think im in the correct directory when i executed the FrontlineSMS.sh...
i've done this many times but its always give me the same error...... :(

is there any other way or any other installer such as .bundle like the vmware?...

by the way, i need the updated instruction so that i can do the right one... :)

tnx for the help...

Hi Joey,

Do you have access to any other computers that you could try FrontlineSMS with? I'm sorry this is so stressful for you.

Alex
i have one... but in windows... :(
is it ok?...

tnx...
Yes, FrontlineSMS should be easier to set up on Windows.
yep, no problem installing in windows,,
but i don't use windows...
i install ubuntu 10.04 in my lappy.. because im a fan of it.. so most of the time i use ubuntu....
that is why... im trying my best to install frontlinesms in my ubuntu...
this is really a big deal for me...

if in case,,, can i install earlier version of frontlinesms like 1.6.12?
but where can i get that.. so that if it run then upgrade to 1.6.14...

:)
tnx...
Hi Joey,

This may actually be our fault after all! We've had a couple of reports that the line terminators are messed up in the FrontlineSMS.sh file - it looks like these files are using the Windows line endings instead of linux. We'll check this and get it fixed in the next release; for now you can convert the line endings yourself - there's info how to do this here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1436135

Sorry!

Alex
alex.. yep its really a problem on the endline compatibility... i converted the script file into unix format and now i can run my FLSMS... tnx for giving so much support about this... hoping this problem with the upcoming version will solve.. and the instruction posted in the website will be updated... :)

tnx all of you guys... more power!!!!!
:D
