SUPPORTING PAKISTAN USHAHIDI DEPLOYMENT - NEED SOME ASSISTANCE

Hello good people,
here is Anahi.

We are helping Jonas, the guy that deployed the Pakistan Ushahidi platform in setting it up. He wants to sync it with Frontline to receive SMS but the internet connection is pretty bad so he will have the network going down from time to time. He wants to know if the SMS received by Frontline when the internet is down will be sent to the Ushahidi platform ones the connection comes back. I told him that this is not the case and that he has to fix the problem by following the instructions here but maybe this problem has been fixed in the new version?.

Jonas is not particularly tech savvy and he may not be able to do it by himself, any FronlineSMS friend in Pakistan right now that can help him?

Hi Anahi,

I think Jonas will still need to use the Ushahidi sync tool that you posted a link to. You may want to try something like TeamViewer to set the system up remotely.
