FrontlineSMS allows you to text message with large groups of people anywhere there is a mobile signal.
Dear all,
I am exploring through FrontlineSMS utilities with an aim of finding a tool which could enable me keep track of beneficiaries who are managed by CHWs in our project. I would like to register all beneficiaries who fall under each CHW and send each of them a text to establish how they are fairing.
I looked at PatientView but it proved tricky when it comes to adding patients under CHW and link to some forms. Please help me with some tips.
Regards
Joel

Permalink Reply by Joel Kuria on August 30, 2012 at 9:25am I installed PatientView on my laptop and managed to add some groups and forms. However i am not able to delete the default contacts which came with the system because any time i try to do this the system presents me with an error and a section to log in. How can i delete the contacts and existing forms?
The system is not receiving feedback from recipients as they are going to my modem which i do not need. Kindly tell me how i should reroute the sms to my frontline and not modem.
Regards
Joel

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty with this! What does the error message say? Can you take a screenshot of it? Can you also send a screenshot of the log in section?
As for rerouting the SMS, is there a program on your computer that connects to your modem? Often the default program by the telephone company opens when you connect a modem. If so, you will need to close it so that the modem can be used by FrontlineSMS.
Best,
Marc

Attached is the bug which keeps recurring any time i try to delete a form or contact. I will try and disable auto-run function of my modem to see if Frontline will receive replied sms.
Thanks
Joel
