Health & Education:

Hello Frontliners Hope all is progressing in your different projects. I´m posting in both the Forums today :)

I work in Argentina in the School of Medicine, UM (

Is there any project aimed to pregrade medical students to assist in learning skills for clinical/hospital enviroments?

I¨d like to use Frontline Forms to collect statistical data from the public hospitals different prevalent disease to later plan for health interventions. The medical students can collect the data.

This is just one option I´d like to know if there are more creative ideas to teach medical students using SMS

All imput is greatly appreciated

Best regards

I am using FLSMS with my application in JSP. I am able to send an SMS writing via FLSMS using my jsp code. Now, I have set up a keyword, set an auto reply and an http request for it. The auto reply is sent and the http request shows a hit but the jsp page is not executed. Does anyone has any idea about this problem...?

Hello Everyone,

I am very interested in the work that this group is doing. I am a student of psychology focusing on early childhood education and I have particular interest in the use of technology in the early childhood classroom and how it can best support teachers and the learning environment. I look forward to collaborating with people on this site.

Thanks for creating this group.

Rahul, you could probably do this using the HTTP Trigger functionality (you can enable it by checking the box under the View menu). I think all you'd have to do is pick a port for FLSMS to listen on & then have your back-end system send the necessary information using an HTTP call. You could also set FLSMS to pass incoming messages to your back-end by configuring a Keyword to trigger an External Command and an HTTP Request. Hope that helps! :)

I am a student at Sheffield Hallam University. I am developing a project titled Ambition - An m-learning application for students in India. I wanted to know whether I can send sms from my system (Built in java or .net ) using frontline sms. If yes then what procedures do I need to follow. Any help from your side will serve as a helping hand towards learning.

Sacha, we'll actually be developing & piloting FrontlineSMS:Learn in Uganda! We're @ the very beginning of the project, but stay tuned for updates. And perhaps we could connect the next time I come through Kampala...

Fatal Error Finally Solved!!
What i did:-
1. Located where my Frontlinesms property files are as earlier directed by Alex. For my case C:\Users\Amos\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\FrontlineSMS
2. Then, I deleted the FrontlineSMS folder.
3. I then started My FrontlineSMS from My Programs.
