Using FrontlineSMS in Dakar, Senegal

Over this weekend there will be a Startup Weekend in Dakar, run by CTIC Dakar. Ahead of this weekend the organizers ran a 'BootCamp' to prepare participants. This BootCamp featured tech tools including FrontlineSMS, and you can read a blog post about the BootCamp here, shared courtesy of Yann LeBeux. \o/

The recent tech start-up weekend in Dakar, mentioned above, sounds like it was a great success! We were pleased to hear that some of those attending the start-up weekend had the chance to get accustomed to open source software tools such as FrontlineSMS at a tech bootcamp ahead of the event.
