FrontlineSMS

FrontlineSMS let users send, receive and manage SMS over a mobile network.

I'm looking for examples of how FrontlineSMS has been used for literacy training.

Thanks.

Have you experience with this, Elizabeth?

Thanks,

Bill
No. Am just beginning to think about the cell phone as a 'low-tech' means of fostering literacy in a developing country.
I understand that Tostan has used another SMS software for literacy in Africa. You can get more information from Gannon Gillespie: gannongillespie@tostan.org Tel: 202-280-1326.

There's some competition between Frontline and theirs so for some organizational reasons it is best for you to pursue this. If you don't mind, let me know what you learn.

Thanks.

Check out this website. We came across this when looking for mobile projects in Niger: http://www.isbrandt.com/
