Why are you interested in FrontlineSMS? How did you hear about it? (To help us filter out spammers, we need as MUCH detail as possible, else we may not be able to approve your request. If you'd rather not share this information openly please email info@frontlinesms.com before joining): I'm using it for a research project in a Geography graduate course. I heard about FrontlineSMS when I created a Crowdmap deployment. The project is about investigating the use of mobile phones to record community perceptions of university spaces. Because I am still new to this, I have not found all the tricks to overcome the lagging periods in displaying SMS messages on Frontline and Crowdmap from the actual times the SMSs were sent.

Tell us about you. (Please also add an image to your profile): I am a masters candidate at McGill University studying Geography. Interested in the role of Web 2.0 technology in poor, urban areas, at home and abroad. I strive to find practical ways to use technology.
