What brought you to FrontlineSMS (please give as much detail as possible)?
I represent an organization called Management Sciences for Health. We are looking to start a mobile health pilot project, possibly in Latin America, and welcome the ideas and proposals of anyone in a community that feels they have a need which mobile and SMS technology could fill. Please contact me if you are interested.

The cell phones are primarily being used at the moment for the tele-health workers to consult with the next tier of healthcare workers, and not between themselves (yet). The next tier is supported by a coordinator and a Dr. Together, they can help provide remote consultations and, when needed, arrange for transportation from the rural community to a health center or hospital (potentially several hours away). I'd be happy to follow-up by email, Skype or phone sometime. You can send me an email at ray-at-tula-dot-org. Ray

I'm involved with a project in rural Guatemala where we have equipped tele-health works with cell phones for a while and are thinking about using FrontlineSMS to expand our capabilities. Perhaps we could chat in real-time.
