no i do not think the low end phones support the coordinate long/lang information, but as well it depends on what your definition of low end is, but i just learnt the other day that there is some j2me code that will help give the long/lang info without the need for the phone to have inbuilt GPS(phone has to be java enabled) so am gonna be giving it a look soon when i get my frontline configured, but i am gonna research and find out how low end these phones can get and yea very interesting it could be great working on a project with you since we share the same interests!

thank you i am working on mobile development, and GIS(teleworking the mobile and GIS with FLSMS) for fast moving consumer goods, i am a student at the university of Nairobi in my final year
