Iam a human rights activists and I work with grassroots women who have faced gross violation because they are women and on to of that they are living with HIV and AIDS. I am interested in using ICT to combat violence against women and I think this platform offers on of the best stratagy to reach out to a bigger community using cheap means since mobile telephones can be access every where even in rural areas. I want to use this facility to raise awareness on the issues of human rights violations that women in Eastern Uganda face

Hi Frontline Community Members,

I have just perused through Groups and I have not seen any group focusing on women. We all know that for centuries, women have been struggling to achieve gender equality. This platform can contribute to achieving gender equality. I am proposing formation of a group targetting women.
