"Hi,Thanks for the information. Unfortunately slow message sending is quite typical when using a modem. A workaround would be to use an Android phone, as these can send out messages faster.
If you are interested in this, please contact us on…"
"Hi Ariel,Could you send us your logs? They'll be in your home folder (e.g. 'C:\Users\ariel\ if you're on windows) in a subfolder called '.frontlinesms2'. Inside that folder there are 2 files, standard.log and…"
"Hi again,Unfortunately we've identified this as a bug affecting 2.3.1. We will fix this, and will then have to release a new desktop version. I cannot promise how soon this will be available, but we will keep you updated here.
Unfortunately this hasn't been addressed yet. However, the workaround you suggest is a great idea. The h2 database will be in "<WindowsHome>/.frontlinesms2/prodDb.h2.db", where 'WindowsHome' is your current…"
I've just recreated this in FrontlineSMS 2.3.1 on a Mac, so I don't think it's a Windows-related issue. I've raised a bug to investigate this. We made changes recently to the export functionality, which might explain why…"
Strange that you're getting 'port not found' when it clearly exists (from gnome-ppp output). The Huawei E173 is one of our most commonly used devices though, so we should be able to get it working. Could you try the…"
"My reading of your dmesg output is that the USB device detected is still acting as a Ethernet over USB ("CDC Ethernet Device").
gnome-ppp, like FrontlineSMS, should automatically detect the port. The output shows that it tried and failed…"
I've just been reading about the Huawei e303. It is designed to give internet access without installation of drivers, achieving this by mounting as a virtual ethernet device rather than as a standard USB modem. For this reason, most…"
Our SMPP functionality currently only supports transmitter/receiver mode. My understanding is that Nexmo only supports 2-way messaging for 'transceiver' binds:
Our SMPP implementation was built to work with a specific mobile…"
Great to hear you want to do this, we're always eager for people to try out our API and suggest new functionality to build in.
Yes, FrontlineSMS and FrontlineCloud both have a 2-way messaging API. In both cases, it's activated…"
Sorry for the wait. We've released an update to FrontlineCloud that we hope will address the variable substitution bug you experienced.
The same fix applies to FrontlineSMS desktop, but we don't currently have a release…"
"You have one page which processes the requests coming from FrontlineSMS. The same page wouldn't render the information when you load in in a browser, because $_POST now refers to the POST payload from your browser's request.
What you need…"
According to the screenshot, the name of the post param name would be 'message', not 'message_body'. On the 'configure service' tab, the 'Name' column determines what the variable will be called in…"

I'm using FrontlineSMS 2.2.1...what I did was use the csv list sent to me by Geoffrey (see below). It managed to import most of this list onto the main contact list for FrontlineSMS. I'm using this list to form a series of small groups to contact about new Dental Services at the clinic...so far it seems to be working great in the sense that I'm able to send around 900 SMS successfully each day..problem occurs when I need to form a new group...I can't seem to create more than 2 groups at a time, which means deleting old groups to form new ones to SMS...when I do this it seems that the main contact list reduces by the exact same number of contacts as I've placed in the groups that I've formed...I'm not too sure how to resolve the problem.
