I've managed to get FrontlineSMS running on an ARM system, specifically the Raspberry Pi.I've detailed the full process on my blog.Essentially, the main problem is that librxtxSerial.so isn't suitable for ARM.  So you need to install librxtx-java and replace the bundled .so that FrontlineSMS comes with.Java runs pretty slowly, but the software all seems to work perfectly.Is there a…See More

"FrontlineSMS isn't WINE - it's Java.  I'm surprised it hangs rather than just quitting immediately.  Anyway, should have a fix for this in the next release (should be next week)."

"I'm using Gnome Classic. Got rid of Unity. I do have a system tray - plenty of apps (including WINE ones) seem happy using it."
