This is a known issue with the Mac version and it's the right fix - there's nothing else I'd recommend. Are you experiencing other issues, besides the one with Reminders you raised elsewhere?

- I heard about frontlineSMS through a colleague at Columbia University's Center for New Media Teaching and Learning, and am interested in using it for data collection in HIV research.

- I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies at Columbia University. I received his doctorate in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and masters in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University.
My research interests focus on applying New Media technology -- particularly mHealth, social media, and various modes of computer-mediated communications -- to HIV prevention, research, intervention, and treatment adherence. My populations of interest are African-American MSM, and ethnic and/or sexual minority youth. I am currently working on applying mobile technologies in HIV clinical trials, and developing theoretical models for New Media-based sexual health management and public health practice.

Optimal computer settings for frontlinesms on Mac and Windows
We are running frontlinesms on several computers (Mac and Windows). Each computer is a little different in age and specs, but all can run frontlinesms. When installing frontlinesms on the Mac it wouldn't work properly until we changed the settings to 32-bit mode. Are there any other computer settings like these that would help frontlinesms run more smoothly?

Reminders plugin not sending SMS after program is closed or computer is turned off
Hello, we are running frontlineSMS on both Mac's and PCs. On both systems, if frontlineSMS is closed or if the computer shuts down the reminders no longer send. Then we have to re-create them all over again. Is there anything we can do about this? This is particularly problematic for our computers in South Africa.
Are there any optimal setting for Macs and PCs when using frontlineSMS
