PING: Simple keyword to check if FLSMS is working

I have a number of installations of FLSMS running in my Lab at the University of Alberta and I often need to check to make sure they are operational.  (The problem is rarely with FLSMS and more often with Windows crashing)

I have been using FrontlineSMS here in Tanzania for an NGO I volunteer for .  Some things I learnt through experience:

FrontlineSMS on the ground in the DRC

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Chamath A. from our FrontlineSMS community. We had the chance to collaborate over lunch. We discussed the implementation of the Eway Foundation/Media and Global Tech's Ethical Citizen Media project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. FLSMS supporting graduate student research at University of Alberta

Here at the University of Alberta we are using FrontlineSMS to support graduate student research in communication and technology.  Among its range of activities, the Mobile Applications for Research Support (MARS) Lab provides access to FLSMS and mobile phones to allow students and community groups to set up and run pilot projects using text messaging.
