So I ended up using a Motorola L6i (cost about 4,000 Rs) while I was in India, and it worked fine until it fell out of my pocket on the bus, and I never saw it again! I didn't have enough money to replace the phone, so I ended up using a web-based SMS service called SMSCountry. This has worked very well for me--it is an Indian website that I can use in the USA. The costs are very minimal: 0.43 Rs per SMS to an Indian number. There are a few glitches, but Pooja from support is very quick to respond to my emails.
I am using sony erricsson T700,Actually I bought it just to use Frontlinesms, but it is expensive Rs.12,000. I also face problem is sending the forms to the phone.
