FrontlineSMS let users send, receive and manage SMS over a mobile network.

When will we see Linux support, I will not run anything on windowz.
I had a quick look and would like to use this with project and it seems to fit the bill here, I would like to run the whole lot on one server.

Its for a small settlement just outside of Windhoek and we would like to inform the people who live there of fires etc.

Just a small pilot then we will release it for Elections and other great stuff, tho only problem I have is that it only runs on Modems , could you not put up an SMPP connection this way we can have huge volumes of mobiles contacting the service simultaneously.

My 10 cents worth.

Hi Steven

This functionality is coming soon to version 2 - check out our upcoming features page. In the meantime, that functionality is still available in version 1.

Also, this bit of the forum is a blog post element which may slip under our radar a bit in terms of user support - best to post issues like this on the Forum bit of the site. Apologies, we know it's a bit confusing.

Best wishes,

Where in the new version can I send a COMMAND
Following old link and I need to have an autoreply with${sender_number}&m=${message_content}
Please note this uses no Keywords so I want to use Do not use keyword (All incoming messages will receive this autoreply). And sent this message to my ushahidi server via http.

Does anyone know what I need to put in my config.php when I am running this server behind my firewall, what I have is port forwarding port 80 external to 80 internal on a private address but I have problems logging in and creating new users. The other pages seem find though. I know its not secure and all that but what we want is a working model to see its potential then secure it.

Hi Steven

We are just about to release a beta version of our Linux build - this will be up today or tomorrow so that you can try it out. We won't be able to provide extensive support to this, but at least you can have it to use!

Also please note that FrontlineSMS works with IntelliSMS and Clickatell, which may help you with your volume issue, but haven't written http actions into the core software as yet. This is envisioned by September.

Best wishes
