Hi Ruth,

I just replied to your reply in the forum.

I am based in China, I haven't implemented FSMS myself yet (I just have the system installed locally). I'm currently focussing on an Android port of the desktop application, which is still work in progress. http://frontlinesms.ning.com/forum/topics/frontlinesms-for-android?xg_source=activity

Given your application - you should look at http://stopstockouts.org/ as a successful example that doesn't require a lot of expenses, because its usage (a behavior) is triggered by immediate feedback loops.

As for FLSMS in Kenya - I haven't used it yet. The input data has taken 4 months to get started :( and I might use clickatell if FLSMS (the cheaper option) doesn't work. I like Clickatell's ability to accept a bunch of pre-written and pre-addressed messages as a single CSV file.

I live in Nairobi. Let me know if you need help. What do you need funding for to implement FLSMS? It's free and text messages are usually 1 shilling each. That's 85 texts per dollar.
