We love to hear these stories from around the world and our story is very similar at CnC. We have started our Facebook page this week to to tell our story to a wider audience and have some cool things in store to pave the way for microentrepreneurs: http://bit.ly/CnCCafeFacebook

I would love to chat more...we are using FLSMS for some upcoming projects in 2010 which should be fun.
We have just started our microfinance operation last month middle. So we are very small. At present we are concentrating on "urban small business" area where we provide micro loans to small business's. We are now busy setting up our operation. Sparsh micro finance services is run by my wife Leena & me. Its nice to meet you all......
FLSMS is going well. Got quite a few agencies involved, and I think we're going to help the UN down here coordinate security with food deliveries at the airport. The addition of the modem has been night and day in terms of reliability and speed, so I'm very pleased--well worth the effort of tracking one down. Now the question is: how do we scale up as we begin to expand our coverage of medicine and food distribution points between Les Cayes and Port au Prince? We shall see, but my experience thus far with FLSMS has definitely made me quite optimistic!
