I am based between the UK and the Philippines (Panay) I have lived in Philippines for 3 years (my wife is Filipino so always backwards and forwards). My current research work is trying to gather data on mangroves their utilization and management and opening this information up to communities to assist in livelihood development and help them reduce dependency on others.

 

My biggest problem so has been problems getting Frontline to see my phone, think need switch to GSM modem so any hints on what works in Philippines would be great.

I hope that you have managed to get FrontlineSMS working okay now? If you still require assistance from the team and other users it is generally best to start a fresh discussion topic on Ning, rather than adding comments on to older discussions. That way all of the info about your problem stays in one place, and it is therefore easier to give effective help. I hope this makes sense.
