FrontlineSMS

FrontlineSMS let users send, receive and manage SMS over a mobile network.

My project is about providing free consultations to indigent patients in the Philippines. 6-8 free consultations are being done in 4 areas in Pampanga. FrontlineSMS is my frontline in informing patients about their scheduled consultations. Our country uses SMS and this is our way of life here. Im glad this technology empowers everyone.

Yes Ive been there to your place. Your microcredit program using Frontline SMS will do you more good and monitoring the borrowers is very very easy and people here have a good graps in SMS. I wish I can share my project in your place but for the past months, the passage if the generic act brings my multinational sponsors down on their knees. They are affected very much. Hope this coming years will bring more sponsors to me. Goodluck in your endeavor somehow we Frontline SMS users here can have a grand get together so that we can share our experiences.

Lyman, have you ever been to Bamban? We are building out a MicroCredit outreach there and in Mindanao and using the coolest Flash site ever made for this on the net using our SaaS technology right from our base in San Francisco.

My wife and I loved your video and want to help your mission using our community internet Cafe's so let us know how we can help you do more?

Yes you can contact me through my email lynman3@yahoo.com
My knowledge can be of great help to you. I hope you have already your frontlines sms. Nokia is my phone of choice. There are tons of compatible nokia phones. Now Im using 6108 a little expensive. I suggest you create a dedicated computer for your project so that the interaction to your members is very easy like you are having your own smart or globe network.

Lynman, Filipino Voices (filipinovoices.com) is currently looking into FrontlineSMS as a means for a citizen journalism project.. is there a way to contact you, because we would like to learn more on how you are implementing it, as well as how we can utilize what you learned to help in our goal..

Ben
Im using neo x-plore x1.1 that runs ong intel celeron 900mhz processor with 512 RAM.
This notebook cost around 250 dollars approx.. This is what Im using especially in keeping my patient file as well as in sending bulk messaging to patient with frontlinesms. This is also light too however the downsize of this laptop the keyboard is very small and I always got some mistakes in typing data.
